Sign up now to participate in our annual IT Day of Service, October 13.

This year we are again recruiting IT volunteers to spend a full or half 
day helping a local nonprofit with an IT project. In past years projects 
have included things like:

   * Setting up PCs with Windows 2000 or XP, installing software and 
connecting them to a network.
    * Network wiring
    * Database consultation
    * Network security
    * Help with website design/redesign

COMPUTER SET-UP AND INSTALLATION

In past years we received donationed computers that were distributed to 
nonprofits as part of the day of service. We are currently in discussion 
to obtain another group of computers for this year.

We hope to know in the next few weeks whether computers will be 
available. Quantities may be limited so if you think you might be 
interested in some of these computers for the Day of Service, please 
sign up now.
