DANEnet hosts the Nonprofit Technical Roundtable focusing on photo
galleries for building interest in events.
What:* People working with technology in Nonprofits come together to
share experiences and solutions.*
Where: *RSVP board room. 517 N. Segoe Road, Suite 301.*
When: *Sept 12th from 8:00am to 9:30am*
To keep your public events building excitement and community long after
the big day, there's nothing more effective than a website photo
gallery. But including pictures of as many people as possible-- and
that's what makes a gallery rewarding to participants-- can be
expensive. Managing oodles of thumbnail-sized pictures and linking them
to higher-quality blow-ups can be a tedious process. We'll introduce
free and inexpensive methods of setting up and managing your photos. We
will talk about both solutions that work in your office and about online
services that can be used by your camera-toting volunteers.
The Nonprofit Technical Round Table is a gathering of people concerned
about technology in the nonprofit world. Every other month interested
people gather for information sharing and discussion. The hour and a
half will be roughly equally divided into presentation, case
study/discussion of the focus topic and an open discussion of current
technical issues.
Other details:
*Parking:* Drive under the building, or park on Segoe - your choice
*Food:* DANEnet will provide pastry, coffee and juice.
