[Commcomp] Workshops set for June 3 multimedia and technology conference.

As everyone is getting ready for the long weekend, I am sending some 
more detail about the workshops on June 3, 2006.  I also attach a flier 
that includes this updated information.

DANEnet and the Lussier Teen Center are holding a workshop to explore 
integrating multimedia curriculum and technology into youth programs. 
This workshop is targeted to afterschool and youth workers. Here are the 
workshop sessions:

Track 1: Mac based programs.

        *     Session A, Hands-on (12:30 pm): Creating music with Garage
          Band.
        *     Session B, Hands-on (2:15 pm): Creating video with iMovie.

Track 2: PC based programs

        *     Session A, Hands-on (12:30 pm): Photo editing with Piccasa
          and GIMP
        *     Session B, Hands-on (2:15 pm): Web creation with Nvu

Track 3: Administration of Multimedia programs

        *     Session A (12:30 pm): Media Literacy curriculums and youth
          self image
        *     Session B (2:15 pm): Resources and equipment for
          multimedia programs
