*DANEnet’s Second Annual Day of Service: September 16, 2006*

Following the success of last year's IT Day of service we have decided 
to make it an annual event. This year we will again recruit teams of 
experts in a variety of computer technologies and arrange for them to
share their expertise with local nonprofits through on-side projects. At 
no expense to your organization, a team of two to five professionals can 
work for or with you on a computer project.


*DAY OF SERVICE*

We will recruit teams of experts in a variety of computer technologies 
and arrange for them to share their expertise with local nonprofits 
through on-side projects. At no expense to your organization, a team of  
two to five professionals can work for or with you on a computer project.


*COMPUTER SET-UP AND INSTALLATION*

Last year we received a donation of computers that were distributed to 
nonprofits as part of the day of service. We are currently in discussion 
to obtain another group of computers for this year. Volunteer teams can 
setup these computers in your offices or labs, install an operating 
system connect them to your network and transfer data.

We should know by mid July how many computers will be available. 
Quantities may be limited so if you think you might be interested in 
some of these computers for the Day of Service, please sign up now.
