[Commcomp] Setup nonprofit computer system - this Thurs. at 6:30pm

Hello All,

Last week we got 4 very functional computers setup complete with 
monitors, modems and open source software - ready for distribution to 
some lucky seniors on the north side.

This week, we'll be helping Midwest Environmental Advocates relocate to 
a new building. CommunITy volunteers helped them setup their current 
office a few years ago. Now they are moving and need help setting up 
computers and re-establishing their internet connection.

Primarily, we'll be assembling their existing computers and server and 
making sure they have a connection to the internet and to the server. 
No special tools required for this project. They are getting a new TDS 
Xdata (fractional T1) internet connection so that will have to be 
configured as well.

They are providing pizza and snacks so don't eat before you come. Lets 
meet at their new location at 551 W. Main Street, Suite 200.  It's the 
second floor of an old building.  The first floor is currently 
untenanted, but
will be occupied by staffers for the Onion.

Start time is 6:30pm. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. See 
you then.
