[Commcomp] 2006 IT Day of Service is September 16 - Sign up now!

As some of you know already, this year's IT Day of Service will be

September 16.

Last year 32 volunteers worked on projects at 22 agencies and we are 
hoping to beat that record this year.

We have been receiving signups from agencies for the past few weeks and 
we are now working on getting volunteers. You can sign up to spend a 
morning or whole day volunteering at a local nonprofit. Projects will 
include things like:

    * Setting up PCs with Windows 2000 or XP, installing software and 
connecting them to a network.
    * Network wiring
    * Database consultation
    * Network security
    * Help with website design/redesign

We will again have a barbecue to finish out the day. This year it will
