[Commcomp] Nonprofit Technical Round Table - May 2, 2006 Computer and Network Security

The next Nonprofit Technical Round Table is almost upon us.

It will be held on May 2, from 8 - 9:30 AM at the SCSI building (517 N 
Segoe Rd). The topic will be *Computer and Network Security*.

The focus will be on explaining the different types of threats and using 
the security tools that come with your computer and network to keep 
yourself safe.

We talked about viruses, spyware and adware last fall so this time we 
will focus on firewalls (including the one built into Windows XP), 
connections to the Internet and the safety features built into some 
browsers.
